IAF operates www.iaf.nu (the “website”). This page informs the user of IAF’s policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data IAF receives from users of the website and newsletter.

Please note that the IAF site does not support “Do Not Track” browser settings and does not currently participate in any “Do Not Track” frameworks that would allow IAF to respond to signals or other mechanisms from users regarding the collection of personal or non-personally identifiable information.
IAF General Privacy Principles
Information IAF collects
If the user is an IAF member, certain information will have been provided to IAF for posting on the IAF website (e.g. a contact name for the organization, and physical address of the organization). IAF will only use the information for legitimate business purposes. Where the user provides information about others (for example, work colleagues or contractors) the user must ensure that consent is obtained or he/she is otherwise entitled to provide this information to IAF.
IAF uses Mailchimp, a third-party email marketing solution, to manage IAF Outlook. If the user has subscribed, IAF will ask for consent. The IAF database is held by Mailchimp and subject to its privacy policies. IAF will request the user’s name and email address. The user may log-in, unsubscribe or amend his/her details at any time.
If the user is an IAF business contact, applicant for a job, or contractor and has provided IAF with personal details or a CV, IAF will store these details in the IAF system, which will be available only to IAF or its contractors for legitimate business purposes.
Changes to this privacy policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 20 November 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
