Whilst Global Accreditation Cooperation incorporated has been in operation since its first General Assembly (Berlin October 2024) full operations will commence on 1 January 2026. From that date, the organisation will:
- Accept new membership applications from organisations that are not existing IAF and/or ILAC members;
- Operate its own multilateral recognition arrangement (MRA); and
- Implement full governance activities under elected officers and designated committees.
