What was the inspiration behind your design?

My design was inspired by nature, as many things we see with our physical eyes originate from the earth—buildings, objects, tools, food, trees, fruits, and more. A solid foundation births great results, and this principle applies to so many aspects of life. When I learned the theme for this year’s World Accreditation Day was about the empowerment of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), I thought of how small seeds planted in fertile soil grow into strong trees, bearing fruit that nourishes the environment. Similarly, enterprises founded on quality can grow into something extraordinary, yielding results that benefit all of humanity. I thought of how to visually represent this idea so I made some sketches that eventually led to my design.

How does your poster illustrate this year’s theme?

The platform on which everything sits is branded with the accreditation symbol which represents quality. The businesses depicted are a microcosm of SMEs. The big tree has icons of different industries as fruits, symbolizing positive results in these sectors. To sum it up, the embrace of accreditation by enterprises will always yield positive outcomes.
