IAF and ISO Publish New Expected Outcomes Document

IAF and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) have published the joint document Expected Outcomes for Certification to ISO 22000, a Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
 
ISO 22000 Food safety management systems — Requirements for any organization in the food chain specifies what an organization needs to do in order to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards and ensure that food products are safe for consumption. ISO 22000 certification, performed by an accredited certification body, can increase consumer confidence in food safety and enable organizations to access new markets. This document lists outcomes that can be expected as a result of certification to ISO 22000, as well as outcomes that can not be expected.
