• To ensure that regulators, specifiers, and businesses can have confidence in accredited certification and the IAF MLA, IAF and its Accreditation Body Members invest significant effort and resource to maintain the integrity and consistency of the MLA through a peer evaluation process. The 2018 IAF MLA Annual Report report sets out the detailed activity carried out as a part of the peer evaluation process, including details of scope extensions to the MLA, new applicants, new signatories, and a breakdown in the numbers of accredited certification bodies worldwide.
