This document defines the requirements for certification bodies carrying out PEFC chain of custody certification. It was developed by a joint working group of PEFC and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and is effective as of 16 July 2012. It was agreed at the IAF Technical Committee meeting held on 21 October 2012 that PEFC should take full responsibility for the publishing and maintenance of this document, and for the scheme.
