The General Assembly, acting on the recommendation of the Technical Committee, resolved that ISO/IEC 17029 shall be applied by ABs with a sector-specific validation/verification programme(s). If the programme concerns environmental information, ISO 14065 shall be applied (ref IAF GA38_8.1).
The Joint General Assembly received with appreciation the reports from the following organisations: International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) and, in particular the activities of CASCO International Organisation for Legal Metrology (OIML) United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)
